Low Angle
My interpretation of a Low Angle Shot is when a scene is shot from a low elevation looking up at the subjects. This may be used to view the ceiling of a set such as the above scene or focus on a main character or even display a sense of disorientation.
I think this shot was used in the above scene to allow the audience to focus on both the character and the artwork on the ceiling, this may have been used to convey a pivot plot point or communicate a religious relevance from the the artwork. This results in a contrast of character and the significance of the artwork to be perceived by the audience.
