Development
As soon as we began filming we began seeing small flaws and difficulties in our planning and as a result we had to develop and edit our ideas and choice of edits and effects in many scenes in the process. We chose to include the Warner Bros. intro before our film (influenced by Donnie Darko), also we took inspiration from the unique Warner Bros. intro featured in the matrix in which the color scheme is altered to match the style of the movie for more of a Sci-fi feel. We instead used a combination of effects (cross hatch and altered the colour and saturation to give a more eerie, cold Sci-fi atmosphere).
Many shots also got altered such as the flickering of the scene between the indoor and out door environment and the credits on the leaves (green screen). Many smaller cuts may have been added or altered in this process, especially towards the end of 'Dark Limbo'. These were changed to both a smooth blur/dissolve transition respectively throughout. Also taking influence from sin city we isolated sole colours in the scenery of Dark Limbo. Timing of the monologue was changed slightly and the last section was removed entirely, this was to create a more streamline progression in the plot yet retain an enigma about certain aspects. Everything we changed these elements to still retained influence from our chosen movies. Many elements we explored such as the green scene didn't fit in with the nature of our film although would have adhered to the codes and conventions of the Sci-fi genre.
We retained the music selection throughout (influenced by A Scanner Darkly) of the classic piece 'Moonlight Sonata'', this is later blended with a heavier guitar version of the moonlight Sonata to emphasise the desperate nature of the scene (informed by the likes of the Matrix and Donnie Darko). A heartbeat can be heard during certain scenes, this was added to communicate the struggle the character is facing as his heart beat becomes loud and audible (Donnie Darko - Frank Scenes).
The title also was heavily altered, our initial idea was to have the Breaking Bad style entitled ''Limbo'' this would slowly blur in using ''bleary in'' as was the various pieces of text and credits scattered throughout.
Throughout this process we have also been using many forms of media (etc.) to present our text such as:
- Blogger.
- Prezzie.
- Photoshop (Animation).
- Motion.
- TextEdit.
- Final Cut Pro X.
- iMovie.
- YouTube. *
- Facebook.*
* These where used to finally distribute and display our pieces of media text.
** It is also worth noting we attempted to replicate an Easter egg of sorts seen in the matrix, during a certain scene the lettering Mobil Ave is visible, this is an anagram for Limbo, we tried to do a similar effect with the credited set designer and writer as they are both anagrams themselves of Limbo.

Music
Initially we had decided on the Moonlight Sonata being our only piece of music throughout the movie, the classic piano at the beginning and then a heavier acoustic guitar version. We had other music and instrumentals in mind that held with the codes and conventions of the Sci-fi genre (instrumental and classical in sound). Many Sci-fi movies such as Transformers have heavier artists such as Linkin Park - New Divide, Green Day - 21 Guns and Avenged Sevenfold - Almost Easy, the unique nature of these chosen songs all adhere to the codes and conventions of the genre (they have both the classical elements as well as more modern alterations). This is a very appealing element contained within any media text and is highly representative of the convergence of technology and media forms as these products merge and is presented via this institution.

Audience
Our primary audience in keeping with the codes and conventions typical of the Sci-fi genre is 15+ teens and young adults (with a slightly stronger marketing likelihood towards males), this is due to the strong Taboo themes and heavy Drug use. We looked at many institutes that would typically distribute and produce this type of media and genre, we decided to focus more specifically on Warner Brothers Pictures, as they are also relateable to the movies we analysed during the research stage.
The social groups represented in our movie is teens who possibly are exposed to the effects of drugs, this is relateable to real life and the typical codes and conventions of the Sci-fi genre as shown in the likes of A Scanner Darkly and Limitless.

Shooting Schedule (Final)
This was the shooting schedule that we aimed to stick to, and we did extremely well. On numerous occasions we filmed when we could outside of these designated times to achieve better shots or re-shoot certain shots. Weather conditions at certain points impeded outdoor filming for a short duration, instead we chose to film our indoor scenes during these periods.
